Ron,

Have you had a chance to find out whether the model's would sign releases for RF stock?

Thanks

Sam, probably one or two models, one or two ADs. There is no minimum level really, just a desire to checkout the process of commercial photography and lighting in a cool space.

David, you can use paypal as described above at the end of the announcement...looking forward to it!

Hi Ron,

Is there any minimum level in lighting/photography required?

How many models will there be? How many MUAs?
Will each photographer assign one model?

Thanks!

Shivi, this may not be the right one for you. We'll be working with lights (strobe, maybe hot lights,...) but the main thrust will be what all goes into a location photo shoot with an art director, stylist, etc. And the lighting of such a shoot.

For an intensive strobe lesson, let's talk off-line about some options. Are you here in NY? (send me an e-mail...)

Hi Ron -
I've been waiting for this for a long time. I'm out of the country in July, planning to sign-up for the August session. Before I do,

however, here's a quick question:

I'm a photographer transitioning from photojournalism and documentary onto fashion and commercial. I have very very strong and solid natural light skills and have done dedicated flash mount over camera work. However, I have ZERO skills when it comes to studio lights. I know light theories and light schemes, etc - but I'm really looking for HANDS ON STROBES workshop - how to work with strobes, set them up, heck - what switch to flip, what screw to tighten, what gear to choose, how to do wireless, etc. etc. -- I want my hands to get dirty!

So, is THIS the workshop for me??? I want to be able to play with the light, set it up, learn how it PHYSICALLY work - less so the effect on the image. Does that make sense? If this is NOT the workshop for me, can you suggest what is? I don't mind even hiring someone for a one-on-one workshop, like a lighting mentor lesson!

Thoughts????

Thanks VERY much
I LOVE this site -
